GOV. REYNOLDS, PERMITTING COUNCIL ANNOUNCE AGREEMENT TO STREAMLINE PERMITTING

DES MOINES, Aug. 6 -- The Office of the Governor issued the following news release:

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and Emily Domenech, Executive Director of the Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Council (Permitting Council), signed a formalMemorandum of Understanding (MOU), to coordinate and streamline federal and state permitting. The agreement commits the state to opt in to the FAST-41 process and align timelines for state and federal environmental reviews.
