HELENA, Mont., Sept. 1 -- Montana Governor issued the following press release:
The chief justice of the Montana Supreme Court has notified Governor Greg Gianforte of the impending vacancy in the Eleventh Judicial District (Flathead County).
Given that District Court Judges Amy Eddy and Dan Wilson are running for the Supreme Court, the governor is now accepting applications from and nominations of any lawyer in good standing who has the qualifications set forth by law for holding the position of district court judge to fill the remainder of the respective judge's term.
