ORONO, Maine, Oct. 28 -- University of Maine issued the following news release:
International food tastings, cultural exhibits, games and a fashion show will be offered during 39th annual Culturefest on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the New Balance Student Recreation Center.
This year's festival will feature a performance by the Huddled Masses Orchestra, Maine's only full-service bradd band. Their set includes music from Serbia, Bavaria, Poland, Ukraine, Central America and New Orleans.
Hosted by the University of Maine Office of International Programs and the International Student Association, the free festival gives UMaine's international community a platform to share their food, talents and cultural traditions.
