This week, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), along with Senators Tim Kaine (D-VA) and Cory Booker (D-NJ), introduced a Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to overturn the Trump administration's effort to politicize and destabilize the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. The Trump administration is seeking to allow Education Secretary Linda McMahon to limit PSLF eligibility and disqualify certain public service employers - a clear attempt to intimidate and punish certain organizations.
