LEXINGTON, Ky., Aug. 24 -- The University of Kentucky issued the following news release:
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 24, 2026) -University of Kentucky students can get free or discounted Uber rides by signing up for the Wildcab Vouchersprogram.
Wildcab Vouchersis free and made possible by a partnership between UK Transportation Services, the UK Student Government Associationand Uber.
Details:
* Students receive up to ten $10 rides per semester.
* Rides are valid Thursday through Sunday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for anywhere within Fayette County.
* Students are responsible for any amount over the initial $10 when redeeming a voucher; however, many rides within the service area are $10 or less, in which case rides will be essentially free.
