Luke Doucette, senior research scientist and R&D program coordinator with the University of Maine's Frontier Institute for Research in Sensor Technologies, and Mauricio Pereira da Cunha, professor of electrical and computer engineering, were featured on Fox Bangor for their work on developing sensors capable of monitoring future nuclear fusion reactors. "These sensors really are an enabler to a lot of these cutting-edge energy production systems to really become a reality," said Doucette.
