FORMER MARINE CHARGED WITH THREATENING TO KILL THE PRESIDENT

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., July 22 -- The U.S. Department of Justice's Federal Bureau of Investigation Jacksonville Field Office issued the following press release:

Jacksonville, Florida - William L. Upham (35, Jacksonville) has been arrested and charged by criminal complaint with threatening the President of the United States. If convicted, Upham faces a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison. United States AttorneyGregory W. Kehoe made the announcement. Upham appeared in federal court in Jacksonville earlier today and has been ordered detained.
