FOOD AND NUTRITION ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION PROGRAM FOR WOMEN, INFANTS, AND CHILDREN (WIC): REVISIONS IN THE WIC FOOD PACKAGES; DELAY OF VITAMIN D IN YOGURT IMPLEMENTATION DATE AND TECHNICAL CORRECTIONS

WASHINGTON, June 24 -- Food and Nutrition Administration has issued a rule called: Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC): Revisions in the WIC Food Packages; Delay of Vitamin D in Yogurt Implementation Date and Technical Corrections.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on June 24 by Shiela Corley, Acting Administrator.

Summary: On April 18, 2024, the Food and Nutrition Administration (FNA) published a final rule that revised the WIC food package regulations. The final rule contained incorrect table entries.
