WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Food and Drug Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Filing of Color Additive Petition From Doehler GmbH; Request To Amend the Color Additive Regulations To Provide for the Safe Use of Calcium Sulfate in Various Foods at Levels Consistent With Good Manufacturing Practice.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 25 by Grace R. Graham, Deputy Commissioner for Policy, Legislation, and International Affairs.
