Communities across the Hill Country continue recovering from last week's devastating floods. While we are grateful that the loss of life was far lower than during last year's flood, two of our fellow Texans were tragically lost, and many communities sustained significant damage to homes, businesses, roads, and other infrastructure.
Damage assessments remain underway, and President Trump has approved a federal emergency declaration to support response efforts across the affected counties.
