WASHINGTON, July 7 -- Fish and Wildlife Service has issued a proposed rule called: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Threatened Species Status With Section 4(d) Rule for the Kern Canyon Slender Salamander and Endangered Species Status for the Relictual Slender Salamander; Designation of Critical Habitat.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on July 7 by Brian R. Nesvik, Director, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
