JACKSON, Miss., Sept. 29 -- The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency issued the following news:
FEMA is awarding more than $8 million to Mississippi, funding 14 projects from the January 2026 winter storm and one project from a 2017 severe storm that will accelerate disaster recovery and build resilience in communities.
With this funding, President Donald J. Trump is keeping his promise to reform federal disaster support and ensure that taxpayer money is spent only on projects and programs that deliver safety and security to the American people.
