FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION ISSUES NOTICE: CIVIL PENALTY INFLATION ADJUSTMENTS

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 -- Federal Trade Commission has issued a notice called: Civil Penalty Inflation Adjustments.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 15 by April J. Tabor, Secretary.

Summary: In accordance with guidance from the Office of Management and Budget ("OMB"), the Federal Trade Commission ("FTC")'s civil penalty amounts will remain unchanged during 2026. The FTC will continue to apply the 2025 civil penalty levels.
