FEDERAL RAILROAD ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: TRAINING, QUALIFICATION, AND OVERSIGHT FOR SAFETY-RELATED RAILROAD EMPLOYEES

WASHINGTON, May 15 -- Federal Railroad Administration has issued a rule called: Training, Qualification, and Oversight for Safety-Related Railroad Employees.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on May 15 by David A. Fink, Administrator.

Summary: In response to petitions for rulemaking, FRA is issuing this final rule to amend its regulation on Training, Qualification, and Oversight for Safety-Related Railroad Employees (Training Rule) to codify agency guidance and clarify existing requirements.
