FEDERAL RAILROAD ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENTS TO FRA'S ACCIDENT REPORTING REGULATIONS

WASHINGTON, Aug. 31 -- Federal Railroad Administration has issued a rule called: Miscellaneous Amendments to FRA's Accident Reporting Regulations.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 31 by David A. Fink, Administrator.

Summary: This rule makes miscellaneous amendments to FRA's accident reporting regulations. Specifically, these amendments promote submitting documents to FRA electronically, eliminate redundant regulations, and allow railroads with additional time to complete certain forms.
