FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: AMENDMENT OF CLASS E AIRSPACE OVER HONESDALE, PA

WASHINGTON, May 8 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Amendment of Class E Airspace Over Honesdale, PA.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on May 8 by Patrick Young, Manager, Airspace & Procedures Team North, Eastern Service Center, Air Traffic Organization.

Summary: This action amends Class E airspace over Honesdale, PA. The portion of the Class E airspace associated with the Honesdale Sports Complex Heliport is being removed due to the heliport being abandoned and associated instrument approach procedures being canceled.
