FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: AMENDMENT OF CLASS E AIRSPACE; BEDFORD, IN

WASHINGTON, Aug. 11 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Amendment of Class E Airspace; Bedford, IN.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 11 by Courtney E. Johns, Acting Manager, Operations Support Group, ATO Central Service Center.

Summary: This action amends the Class E airspace at Bedford, IN. This action is due to an airspace review conducted due to the decommissioning of the Hoosier very high frequency omnidirectional range (VOR) as part of the VOR Minimum Operational Network (MON) Program. The name of IU Health Bedford Hospital Heliport, Beford, IN, is also being updated to coincide with the FAA's aeronautical database.
