FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: AMENDMENT OF CLASS D AIRSPACE AND CLASS E AIRSPACE OVER WESTFIELD, MA

WASHINGTON, July 24 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Amendment of Class D Airspace and Class E Airspace Over Westfield, MA.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 24 by Patrick Young, Acting Manager, Tactical Operations Team, Eastern Service Center, Air Traffic Organization.

Summary: This action amends Class D and Class E airspace over Westfield, MA. This action updates the airport name and geographic coordinates in both Westfield, MA Class D and Class E airspace legal descriptions. This action also replaces "Airport/Facility Directory" in the Class D airspace legal description with "Chart Supplement" to comply with current FAA guidance.
