WASHINGTON, March 20 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Bell Textron Canada Limited Helicopters.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on March 20 by Steven W. Thompson, Acting Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.
Summary: The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bell Textron Canada Limited Model 429 helicopters. This AD was prompted by reports of incorrectly installed lockwire on the stability and control augmentation system (SCAS) actuator jam nut.
