WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 23 by Lona C. Saccomando, Acting Deputy Director, Integrated Certificate Management Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2024-08-05, which applied to certain Airbus SAS Model A330-200, A330-200 Freighter, and A330-300 series airplanes; and Model A330-841 and A330-941 airplanes. AD 2024-08-05 required revising the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations.
