FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: DESIGNATION-RESTRICT THE OPERATION OF UNMANNED AIRCRAFT IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO A FIXED SITE FACILITY; EXTENSION OF COMMENT PERIOD

WASHINGTON, June 30 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Designation-Restrict the Operation of Unmanned Aircraft in Close Proximity to a Fixed Site Facility; Extension of Comment Period.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on June 30 by Michelle Ferritto, Director, Airmen and Airspace Rules Division, Office of Rulemaking.
