WASHINGTON, June 22 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Amendment of Domestic Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range (VOR) Federal Airways V-16, V-94, V-159, and Revocation of V-535; Eastern United States.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on June 22 by Alex W. Nelson, Manager, Rules and Regulations Group.
Summary: This action proposes to amend domestic Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range (VOR) Federal Airways V-16, V-94, and V-159, and revoke V-535 in the eastern United States. The FAA is proposing these actions due to the planned decommissioning of the Holly Springs, MS (HLI), VOR/Tactical Air Navigation (VORTAC).
