WASHINGTON, May 15 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Stemme GmbH Gliders.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on May 15 by Paul R. Bernado, Acting Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.
Summary: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Stemme GmbH (Stemme) Model Stemme S 12 gliders. This proposed AD was prompted by reports of fuel leaking around certain copper sealing rings within the fuel system.
