WASHINGTON, May 15 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. Airplanes.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on May 15 by Paul R. Bernado, Acting Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA is revising a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) that would have applied to certain Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. (Pilatus) Model PC-12 airplanes. This action revises the NPRM by changing the applicability. The FAA is proposing this airworthiness directive (AD) to address the unsafe condition on these products.
