WASHINGTON, April 23 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Bombardier, Inc, Airplanes.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on April 23 by Steven W. Thompson, Acting Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc. Model BD-700-1A10, and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by an in-service event where a main landing gear tire burst upon landing.
