WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Bombardier, Inc, Airplanes.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 26 by Steven W. Thompson, Acting Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Bombardier, Inc, Model BD-700-1A10 and BD-700-1A11 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports that inappropriate tooling was used to torque the bolts securing the baggage door stop fittings, which may have resulted in an improper torque condition.
