WASHINGTON, Oct. 7 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Oct. 7 by Brian Knaup, Acting Deputy Director, Integrated Certificate Management Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: The FAA is revising a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) to supersede Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2014-16-22 and AD 2017-25-13, which apply to certain Airbus SAS Model A330-200, A330-200 Freighter, A330-300, A340-200, A340-300, A340-500, and A340-600 series airplanes; and AD 2024-25-11, which applies to certain Airbus SAS Model A330-200, A330-200 Freighter, A330-300, A330-800 and A330-900 series airplanes.
