WASHINGTON, Sept. 9 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Airworthiness Directives; Airbus SAS Airplanes.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 9 by Brian Knaup, Acting Deputy Director, Integrated Certificate Management Division, Aircraft Certification Service.
Summary: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus SAS Model A350-941 and A350-1041 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports of failure of hydraulic engine driven pumps (EDPs) of the standard EDP-06.
