FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION ISSUES NOTICE: NOTICE OF INTENT TO DESIGNATE AS ABANDONED VANDYKE RUSSELL SUPPLEMENTAL TYPE CERTIFICATE

WASHINGTON, Oct. 5 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a notice called: Notice of Intent To Designate as Abandoned VanDyke Russell Supplemental Type Certificate.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Oct. 5 by Steven W. Thompson, Acting Deputy Director, Compliance & Airworthiness Division, Aircraft Certification Service.

Summary: This notice announces the FAA's intent to designate VanDyke Russell Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) No. SA176CE as abandoned and make the related engineering data available upon request. The FAA has been unsuccessful in contacting VanDyke Russell concerning the STC. This action is intended to enhance aviation safety.
