WASHINGTON, July 21 -- Federal Aviation Administration has issued a notice called: Bessie Coleman Women in Aviation (BCWA) Advisory Committee.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on July 21 by Daniel Blum, Executive Director, Acting, Office of Aviation Policy & Plans.

Summary: DOT solicits nominations for membership to serve on the Bessie Coleman Women in Aviation (BCWA) Advisory Committee, which is intended to provide independent advice and recommendations to the Secretary of Transportation through the FAA Administrator to promote the recruitment, retention, employment, education, training, career advancement, and well-being of women in aviation professions and aviation-focused Federal civil service positions.
