The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced $31,968,035 (https://ciosenus.box.com/s/2wutt6o3dfgmkasc9rkct4msddnh1ujm) in Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grants for airports across North Dakota. The funding will be distributed as follows:
* $8,818,680 to the Bismarck Municipal Airport to rehabilitate Runway 3/21 and Taxiways D, D1, D2, and D3; reconstruct runway and taxiway lighting; construct runway safety area improvements and a blast pad; and complete associated airfield safety enhancements.
