ATHENS, Ga., Oct. 9 -- The University of Georgia issued the following news release:

Anna Carrandi never thought she would be back in higher education.

"It was a wild journey to get here," she said.

After spending time across the East Coast, she has lived numerous lives as a retail manager, nanny, stylist and even a personal assistant. Now, she is the executive assistant to the senior associate dean for academic affairs at the University of Georgia School of Medicine.
