Today, during a Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs hearing, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) called out fraudsters stealing $1.4 billion every day from the federal government and secured a commitment from Hal Duncan, nominee to be Deputy Director at the Office of Management and Budget, to ensure taxpayer dollars are not diverted to con artists.
