WASHINGTON, Aug. 27 -- The Army Engineer Research and Development Center issued the following news release:
The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) has entered into a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with Sogang University in Seoul, South Korea, to advance research into artificial cells capable of sensing multiple environmental stimuli. For the Army, such capabilities could ultimately support applications ranging from environmental monitoring and infrastructure assessment to situational awareness in complex operational environments.
