ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY ISSUES RULE: ISOFETAMID; PESTICIDE TOLERANCES

WASHINGTON, Aug. 4 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a rule called: Isofetamid; Pesticide Tolerances.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 4 by Charles Smith, Director, Registration Division, Office of Pesticide Programs.

Summary: This regulation establishes tolerances for residues of isofetamid in or on nut, tree, group 14-12, and almond, hulls. Under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA) ISK Biosciences Corporation submitted a petition to EPA requesting that EPA establish a maximum permissible level for residues of this pesticide in or on the identified commodities.
