WASHINGTON, Aug. 20 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a rule called: Cypermethrin; Pesticide Tolerance(s).
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 20 by Charles Smith, Director, Registration Division, Office of Pesticide Programs.
Summary: This regulation establishes a tolerance action for residues of cypermethrin (CASRN 52315-07-8) in or on the food and feed commodity of cacao, dried bean. Under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), the National Confectioners Association submitted a petition to EPA requesting that EPA establish a maximum permissible level for residues of this pesticide in or on the identified commodity.
