WASHINGTON, May 29 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a rule called: Bacillus Thuringiensis Cry1B.34.1, Bacillus Thuringiensis Cry1B.61.1 and Adiantum Trapeziforme var. Braziliense IPD083Cb Proteins; Pesticide Tolerances.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on May 29 by Edward Messina, Director, Office of Pesticide Programs.

Summary: This regulation establishes exemptions from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of the Bacillus thuringiensisCry1B.34.1, Bacillus thuringiensisCry1B.61.1, and Adiantum trapeziforme var. brazilienseIPD083Cb proteins (hereafter Cry1B.34.1, Cry1B.61, and IPD083Cb proteins) in or on all food and feed commodities when used as plant-incorporated protectants (PIP).
