WASHINGTON, Sept. 4 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule called: Updates to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Definitions and Exclusions.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 4 by Lee Zeldin, Administrator.

Summary: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposes to revise a regulatory definition under the Clean Water Act (CWA) permitting regulations pertaining to discharges in the contiguous zone and ocean.
