ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: APPROVAL AND PROMULGATION OF STATE AIR QUALITY PLANS FOR DESIGNATED FACILITIES AND POLLUTANTS; PUERTO RICO; NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY

WASHINGTON, Aug. 27 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule called: Approval and Promulgation of State Air Quality Plans for Designated Facilities and Pollutants; Puerto Rico; Negative Declaration for the Oil and Gas Industry.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 27 by Michael Martucci, Regional Administrator, Region 2.

Summary: Pursuant to the Clean Air Act, the Environmental Protection Agency is proposing to approve a negative declaration for oil and natural gas facilities within the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
