WASHINGTON, April 10 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a proposed rule called: Air Plan Approval; Ohio; Redesignation of the Cleveland, OH Area to Attainment of the 2015 Ozone Standards.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on April 10 by Anne Vogel, Regional Administrator, Region 5.

Summary: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to act in accordance with a request from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA) to redesignate the Cleveland, Ohio area to attainment for the 2015 ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) because the request meets the statutory requirements for redesignation under the Clean Air Act (CAA).
