WASHINGTON, July 16 -- Environmental Protection Agency has issued a notice called: Good Samaritan Remediation Permit for the Bodie Mine Project.
The notice was published in the Federal Register on July 16 by Thomas D. Croci, Acting Assistant Administrator, Office of Land Emergency Management.
Summary: The Bodie Mine is a mine site located in Okanogan County, Washington. On June 11, 2026, Trout Unlimited Inc. (Trout Unlimited) applied for a Good Samaritan remediation permit pursuant to the Good Samaritan Remediation of Abandoned Hardrock Mines Act of 2024 (2024 Good Samaritan Act or Act).
