UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., April 26 -- Pennsylvania State University issued the following news release:
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Eight Penn State football players were selected during the 2026 NFL Draft, held April 23-25 in Pittsburgh. In addition, several Nittany Lions were signed as unrestricted free agents following the draft.
Players drafted included:
* Olaivavega Ioane, offensive lineman - Baltimore Ravens (1st round, 14th pick)
* Drew Allar, quarterback - Pittsburgh Steelers (3rd round, 76th pick)
* Drew Shelton, offensive lineman - Dallas Cowboys (4th round, 112th pick)
* Dani Dennis-Sutton, defensive end - Green Bay Packers (4th round, 120th pick)
* Zakee Wheatley, safety - Carolina Panthers (5th round, 151st pick)
