BOWLING GREEN, Ky., Aug. 5 -- Western Kentucky University issued the following news release:

Dr. Patti Minter, former Kentucky State Representative and current Professor of History at WKU, has been appointed to the Kentucky Board of Education by Governor Andy Beshear.

Dr. Minter was officially sworn in on Wednesday, August 5. She will serve as an At-Large Member for a term expiring on April 14, 2030.
