The latest Discover RED highlights the work of Ali Ubeyitogullari, an assistant professor of food engineering with the Food Science and Biological and Agricultural Engineering departments at the U of A. The Ubeyitogullari Lab is working to create functional foods through 3D printing and to enhance the bioavailability of micronutrients using nanoscale science and engineering based on supercritical carbon dioxide technology.
