U.S. Representatives Debbie Dingell (D-MI-06) and Lisa McClain (R-MI-09) led the introduction of a bipartisan resolution honoring the University of Michigan men's basketball team for their victory in the 2026 NCAA March Madness tournament. On Monday, April 6, the Michigan Wolverines defeated the University of Connecticut Huskies to claim their first NCAA basketball title since 1989. The final score was 69-63.
