NEW ORLEANS, Sept. 11 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security issued the following news release:
WASHINGTON - The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released the following statement after hosting a successful career expo in Buffalo, New York that drew more than 1,100 attendees.
The DHS Career Expo took place from September 1 to September 2 at the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Eastern Great Lakes in Buffalo, New York.

Over the course of those two days, 1,112 candidates were in attendanceand more than 500 interviews were hosted. In addition, more than 600 applications were received and more than 600 tentative job offers/tentative selection letters were issued.
