DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES ISSUES RULE: MANDATORY GUIDELINES FOR FEDERAL WORKPLACE DRUG TESTING PROGRAMS-AUTHORIZED TESTING PANELS

WASHINGTON, March 13 -- Department Of Health And Human Services has issued a rule called: Mandatory Guidelines for Federal Workplace Drug Testing Programs-Authorized Testing Panels.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on March 13 by Robert F. Kennedy, Secretary, Department of Health and Human Services.

Summary: HHS herein publishes the panels of Schedule I and II drugs and biomarkers authorized for testing in federal workplace drug testing programs. The Department has made no revisions to the current drug testing panels for both urine and oral fluid and current required nomenclature for laboratory and Medical Review Officer Reports, effective July 7, 2025.
