NEW ORLEANS, La., July 9 -- Delgado Community College issued the following news release:

Delgado Community College hosted New Orleans Mayor Helena Moreno, City Council members,
elected officials, and civic leaders Wednesday at Delgado's Maritime and Industrial
Training Center as the City announced new initiatives related to economic development
and expansion in New Orleans East.
The initiative is centered on two corridors, anchored by the Michoud Innovation Corridor
and the Port and Logistics Corridor that will attract investment, infrastructure improvements,
jobs, and services throughout New Orleans East in the years to come.
