Today, Representatives Suzan DelBene (WA-01) and Mike Kelly (PA-16) introduced the Concurrent Care for Comfort Act, bipartisan legislation that would help improve care for patients with kidney failure.

Currently, Americans living with kidney failure are not allowed to continue their dialysis treatment under Medicare if they choose to enter hospice care. This legislation would allow patients to continue a limited number of dialysis treatments upon entering hospice. This will allow patients to be with their family symptom-free.
