UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., Aug. 15 -- Pennsylvania State University issued the following news release:
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - "One Million Scholar's Chip" is the winning flavor of a Penn State Berkey Creamery contest that commemorates the one millionth degree awarded this summer by the University.
The historic threshold was crossed Aug. 15, during summer commencement ceremonies at the University Park campus.
The flavor will be available beginning Aug. 24, the first day of the fall semester, through the end of the calendar year, according to Doug Thomas, operations manager for the Creamery.
